Pandle is bookkeeping software, meaning it helps business owners to keep a record of their transactions in a way that can be presented to stakeholders and can be used to produce accounts which can be turned into tax returns.

Pandle can produce accounting reports (i.e. profit and loss and balance sheets), but it cannot complete your annual tax return. To complete a tax return you will either need specialist third party software or an accountant. An accountant is recommended (especially if you have a limited company). They will ensure the bookkeeping you have completed is correct, and will be able to find ways to make your accounts more tax efficient to reduce your tax liability.

Pandle is also fully Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT compliant, this means that users can file their own quarterly VAT returns directly to HMRC. However, it is always advisable to seek the help of a professional to ensure accurate submissions are made.
