Your bank feeds might automatically disconnect after a period of inactivity, or if your bank uses multi-factor authentication. If you believe your bank feeds have stopped, then the following options should help to resolve the issue, or use the Live Chat button to talk to the team.

Check to see if the transactions are in your pending tab

Click 'Banking' in Pandle's menu navigation, and select 'Bank Accounts'.


On the 'Enter Transactions' screen click the entry icon next to the relevant bank account.

Click the 'Pending' tab to view any transactions that still show a pending status with your bank.

Transactions with a 'pending' status will be moved into the 'Check' tab once they fully clear with your bank. Depending on your bank, some transactions may show a pending status for up to 10 days.

Check to see if your bank feed is undergoing maintenance

From time to time our bank feed provider will carry out maintenance on its bank feed integrations, helping to keep them as secure as possible. When this happens, it may mean that your bank feed is temporarily unavailable.

We will notify you when our provider is carrying out maintenance work, and confirm which banks are affected, along with an expected completion date.

Refresh your bank feed

Some banks (such as Barclays and HSBC) use multi-factor authentication. This is an added layer of security that helps protect your bank account. This is usually the code generated by a card reader or fob that you see when you log in to your online banking account

If you manage a bank account in Pandle that uses Multi-Factor Authentication you will need to refresh your bank feed to view your latest transactions in Pandle. It is recommended that you refresh at least every 30 days.

When refreshing your bank feed you will not be asked for all of your login information, only the code or PIN generated. 

Please do not try to refresh whilst you are logged in to your online banking account as you may become temporarily locked out.

How to refresh your bank feed

If you need to refresh your bank feed, the 'Check and Confirm' icon will change to a 'Refresh' icon.

You can also refresh your bank feed by clicking 'Enter Transactions' on the Bank Accounts screen.

Select the bank account you wish to enter transactions for, and click 'Enter Transactions' to continue.

Scroll to the end of the page, and click 'Refresh Bank Feed'.

Check if you can add more transactions

If refreshing your feed does not automatically update your transactions, use the 'Add More' tool to request an update.

Click 'Actions', and then select 'Add More' from the dropdown menu.

Then enter the date of the oldest missing transaction from your bank account, and click 'Retrieve Data'. 

If the date you enter overlaps transactions already entered into Pandle through your bank feed, Pandle will ignore any duplicates.
